Our Diamond Jubilee Festival of Young Pianists in May, 2003 was such a musical success that the Society mounted a second Festival along the same lines in May 2005. The Committee has decided to host a third Festival in May 2007.

There will be an incredible array of talent each evening, with outstanding North East pianists providing Monday's programme and the Tuesday and Wednesday programmes given by stars from Chetham's School of Music, Manchester. The Festival will present a wide variety of music that all lovers of piano music will enjoy.
