A Garland of English Music in Jesmond


St George's Church, Osborne Road, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne - 7:00pm

The Jesmond Consort present a variety of English Music through the ages culminating with Tallis's amazing 40 part motet "Spem in Alium".

Other music includes
Byrd: Justorum Animae
Tallis: O Nata Lux, O Sacrum Convivium and Spem in Alium
Purcell: Remember Lord not our Offences
Finzi: My Spirit Sang All Day

Held in the lovely surroundings of in the surroundings of St George's Church in Jesmond, entrance is free although there will be a retiring collection.
