Lead the Choir - conductor training, session 2

Singers needed to form guinea pig choir!
We're looking for experienced singers who read music to join our 'guinea pig' choir at this conductor training session on Saturday 17 April at Royal Grammar School, Jesmond. You'll work with the trainee conductors as they explore conducting techniques and rehearsal practices, under the expert guidance of Keith Orrell and Peter Broadbent.

The music to be covered includes Derufle's Requiem and a wide range of shorter pieces. Singers will be provided with tea and coffee, and sandwiches at lunchtime. Ideally singers would take part for the whole day but we can also accommodate some who can only attend for half the day (morning: 10am - 1pm, afternoon 1.45 - 4.45pm).

For more information or to register your interest contact Howard Layfield, howard.layfield@talktalk.net, 01661 871105.
