Wanted - young singers
Pongos Youth Choir, Ponteland
Wednesdays, 7 - 9 pm, during termtime
Pongos is a dynamic youth choir for singers between 10 and 18. Having recently lost some older members they would like to recruit the next generation to swell numbers. Rehearsals are held in Ponteland.
Last year's events included a "Fairtrade" concert and carols at Wallington Hall. In October they are joining the Durham Scratch Choir in their concert "Heaven Beneath Their Feet" as part of Voices for Hospices and have a Christmas booking lined up already!
But they need more singers to fulfil their potential so if you, or anyone you know, are interested, contact them for more details.
