Training and Development
Running a music group can be great fun, but at times we can all start to feel bogged down by committees and paperwork, and not know where to turn for help. Making Music employs a team of Regional Development Officers around the country to support our members and other voluntary music groups at local level.
The officers organise a range of Training and Development activities in each region every year. Activities vary depending on the current needs of music groups in that particular area and on other provision available.
Activities in the North East include:
- Training events
- Development projects
- Case studies
- Factsheets
- One-to-one support and guidance for groups
For more information about specific Training and Development activities and resources use the links on the right-hand side or contact the North East Development Officer.
The North East Development Officer is also a resource for music groups. She is able to offer advice about the services Making Music provides to members and prospective members. She can also provide guidance for groups on a range of artistic and administrative issues to help give you back the time you need to dedicate to your music making.
